Consignment Announcement!

We’re excited to announce the launch of a new paddlesports consignment section at The Outfitters Shop at Zoar Outdoor!

We are now accepting gently used paddling-related gear.
Items must be in good or better condition, clean, and free of defects, broken zippers, excessive wear, or damaged labels.

Please note: All sales are final.

Come by and give your quality gear a second life - and help fellow paddlers gear up for their next adventure!

Accepted Consignment Items: 

(All items must be clean, functional, and in good or better condition)

  • Kayaks: Approximately 10 years old or newer, in good condition.

  • Paddles: Lightly used with no major edge wear, cracks, or signs of abuse.

  • Paddling Gear:

    • New helmets

    • New PFDs (life jackets)

    • Spray skirts in good condition (no tears, intact seam tape)

    • Flotation bags (functional hoses, no delamination or damage)

  • Paddling Clothing:

    • Lightly used drysuits, drytops, splash tops, paddling pants, wetsuits, Hydroskin layers, fleece paddling layers, and synthetic layers

    • No delamination, excessive pilling, broken zippers, stains, or major wear

  • Whitewater Safety Knives

  • Bags: Dry bags, duffel bags, Bill's Bags, daypacks, and backpacks

  • Technical Outerwear: Waterproof shells and technical jackets

  • Paddling Footwear: New paddling-specific shoes and boots

We do NOT accept:

Examples of items we are not accepting:

  • Winter outdoor equipment
  • Camp Stoves
  • Electronics
  • Climbing equipment: Cams, nuts, harnesses etc.
  • Rope/Webbing 
  • Used Helmets
  • Used River Tubes
  • Used Throwbags/ tow tethers 
  • Cotton Clothing
  • Used Water shoes/ outdoor footwear / socks
  • Sunglasses
  • Bikes/biking equipment
  • Pet items
  • Items more than 6 years old
  • Items that have been altered or modified
  • Oversized items like car top boxes, car top tents, and car rack systems

How to Sell Your Gear

Payment

We pay out our consignment sales on a monthly basis.  If your items sell, we’ll let you know!

Two options for payment, please decide when you drop off your items:

Option 1: 75% Store Credit - You’ll receive 75% of the selling price in store credit

Option 2: 65% Check Payment - We’ll mail you a check for 65% of the selling price

Policies

  • Zoar Outdoor and its employees have the right to refuse items for any reason
  • We accept up to 5 items at one time
  • Items must be paddlesports related
  • Items must be in good condition and function properly
  • Sellers can remove their items from consignment at any time
  • The price of the item can be changed at any time by the seller
  • We reserve the right to donate or dispose of items that do not sell within one year
  • Zoar Outdoor may reduce the price after two months without notice
  • Zoar Outdoor will notify sellers monthly of any sold items
