Outfitting for your kayak, canoe, SUP or raft

A properly outfitted canoe or kayak should fit the paddler well while ensuring that the paddler can easily and safely exit the boat in the event of a swim. The least expensive insurance for your new boat is flotation.  Float bags that fit your boat properly (fill as much space in the ends with air as possible) can help significantly with retrieval by making the boat float higher in the water when you swim.  Your float bags should be durable, shaped and sized properly and able to withstand the rigors of whitewater.  Call us if you need help fitting flotation to your kayak or canoe.
